I sold my first house in 2006. It was during a downward market shift that was taking some homeowners months to sell their homes. The house I sold was my own home and I sold it For Sale By Owner in one weekend. And, no, I did not underprice it. We made a normal profit for the time and area. That was before I ever even thought of becoming a real estate agent.

Sometimes, it’s time for a change.
My husband and I were on vacation in Los Angeles years ago, feeling that we needed to make a change. We had been happily married for only a few years, living in Tennessee near the same small towns we grew up in. Going to unfulfilling jobs, doing the same things every weekend wondering, “Was this it?” There had to be something more for us. We wanted something different. Something better. A new opportunity.
We had both been drawn to Los Angeles in the past. Both of us had wanted to move to the city years before meeting each other. But for different reasons, those moves didn’t work out. Then the unexpected occurred on that vacation. My husband was offered a new career in Los Angeles, if we were willing to move. We thought, “This is it!” A new adventure together outside the boundaries of everything we knew. This was our chance for change in a city we both love.
So, we moved across the country to Los Angeles. And that’s when my career in Los Angeles – West Hills real estate began, with the PEACE OF MIND TO MOVE FORWARD…
